Charlotte & Matt’s Wedding–Armstrong, BC

I travelled to Armstrong in June for my good friends Charlotte and Matt’s stunning wedding! Charlotte and I met while at UVic studying writing and I met Matt shortly thereafter as they’d both moved to Victoria together to attend school. After we graduated they relocated back to Armstrong where they both grew up. I’d never been to Armstrong and wow is it ever beautiful! Lots of farmland (my favourite!) and scenic landscape.

The ceremony was held on the property they live on with a big tent set up out back for the reception. The weather had turned to rain the night before and sure enough, as soon as the ceremony began it started to rain lightly, but it let up very quickly, just enough to shower the couple with good luck! Charlotte’s gorgeous flower crown was made by Crocus Floral Design (http://www.crocusfloraldesign.com/home.html) and the bouquets and unique boutonnieres were handmade by Charlotte’s mum. We had so much fun touring the property and finding fun places to take photos. The night finished up with lots of dancing and great live music by the band Paperboy and the Messengers (http://paperboyband.bandcamp.com/) . It was a wonderful wedding and I was so honoured to be a part of it.

Enjoy!
