This was such a beautiful August wedding and it couldn’t have been more fitting for this couple than to be held in Qualicum Beach, right next to the crashing of the waves by the ocean. J&M are both avid surfers and athletes and love to enjoy nature and the outdoors. After the seaside ceremony, we headed into the nearby woods for some portraits and made our way back to the beach. I’ve heard about the epic sunsets that Qualicum Beach boasts, and I was lucky to experience my first one on their wedding night. The colours were incredible and as their dinner reception took place on the patio of the Qualicum Beach Inn everyone enjoyed watching the sun go down.
