De Vine Vineyards is a gem of a winery situated close to Brentwood Bay. Not only does the 25 acre vinyeard offer an incredible view of the ocean, the gulf islands and surrounding country landscape, their wines are also delicious and well worth a try if you haven’t sampled them before.

 

I was lucky to shoot a wedding at de Vine in the summer of 2013–when they were in the trial stage of hosting weddings–and then again this past September when C&G tied the knot on a gorgeous sunny afternoon. The ceremony was backed by the ocean view and  the bridal party walked down the aisle as a string quartet played in the background. The evening was spent eating mouth watering treats served up by Toque Catering and plenty of dancing followed as the sun set and the tent was lit up!
