As 2014 comes to a close I wanted to share some of my favourite images from the year. My wedding season started for me in March this year with a rainy day wedding in Vancouver. We all embraced the cold, the rain and the wind (even when it took the umbrella and promptly turned it inside out within seconds of us opening it!) and had such a great time running around the water front in gum boots snapping, photos as we went. It’s moments like this, though they can be challenging– that keep me inspired and excited about photography.

 

Weddings and engagement sessions allowed me to travel quite a bit this year–all over the greater Victoria area as well as Armstrong, Chilliwack, Pender Island and Sombrio beach–for which I am always grateful. I love to travel and photograph in new places!

 

To all my 2014 wedding clients: thank you so much for trusting me to document your special day! I hope the photos bring you many happy memories in the years to come.
